This course is designed for aspiring fashion designers and sewing enthusiasts who want to take their ̨Íåswag to the next level by crafting garments from the initial concept through to the final creation. Learners will develop the ability to create designs from the initial design concept to the finished garment. Learners will also will explore the entire fashion design process, from sketching and conceptualizing ideas to selecting fabrics, drafting patterns, and constructing garments and translating theses ideas into wearable designs. During this courses learners will gain the proficiency in selecting fabrics, understanding fabric properties and the impact they will have on the garment design. Learners will master the drafting, modification and fitting techniques to create custom designed patterns. You will also acquire advanced sewing and garment construction ̨Íåswag for professional - quality finishes of the garments or projects. and you will be able to explore creative techniques for embellishment, detailing and garment customization. The course will provide a deep dive into the technical aspects of garment making, while also encouraging creativity and personal expression. By the end of the course, students will have designed and created their own unique garments, showcasing their ability to bring a fashion concept to life and complete a final garment project that reflects on both technical skill and creative vision.
